Discipline

Mobile Commerce Analytics, as this desk uses the phrase.

Not “everything digital.” Not paid social. The craft of reading how a thumb, a catalogue, a payment choice, and a warehouse jointly produce or refuse an order.

Wall of printed charts and data printouts

The unit of attention

Desktop analytics inherited the page. Mobile commerce inherited the tap, the stall, and the backgrounded app. If your report still counts “sessions” the way a laptop site does, you are averaging away the moment a shopper checked a size, switched to Line, and never returned.

We treat network weather, OTP waits, and cash-on-delivery refusals as first-class events. They are not footnotes under “technical.” In Thailand they often decide the week.

What we refuse to call a metric

Push open rates as loyalty. Festival traffic as conversion. QR scans as sales. Influencer reach as basket quality. These numbers appear in many decks; they do not survive a merchandiser critique on Rama 4.

If a number cannot change a packing rule, a size-guide, or a live-sale script, we ask why it is on the page.

Four lenses

A

Session grain

Screen views, tap targets, scroll that never reaches variant. The phone is not a small desktop.

B

Payment weather

COD, Line, cards, 7-Eleven pick-up. Each path has a different honesty about intent.

C

Live windows

Host script, SKU drops, and the twenty minutes after stream when the warehouse still thinks the sale is “online.”

The fourth lens is geography. Bangkok late-night live commerce is not Isan COD. A nationwide average is usually a way to hide both.

How this shows up in the studio

Live Basket Intelligence is the long form of lenses A–C. Thai Mobile Spend Patterns is the geographic argument. Checkout Friction Mapping is the unglamorous instrumentation work. None of them replace your BI tool; they teach you what to stop asking it.

If you want a walkthrough before choosing a seat, write to the desk. Bring a stall you already suspect. We are uninterested in generic “digital transformation” briefs.
